Updates with the latest at Child & Family Resources and around our community

December is “Traditions in our Community” Month.

December is Traditions in our Community month! The holidays are here and so are traditions! This month we celebrate our differences and similarities in the many different traditions that are celebrated in the December breeze. Different cultures have their own traditions that they follow yearly and either it is widely known, or it can even be as small as a family kept tradition. The Holidays reflect our shared values, historical milestones, and unique traditions. They are such an important role in your childhood and in preserving that culture in your adult self. What traditions do you, your friends, city, peers, and/or family celebrate around this time of year?
