Nurturing Parenting Program
Child & Family Resources is proud to offer the Nurturing Parenting Program to parents and caregivers across Arizona. This program strives to empower adult parents and foster positive parenting skills, nurturing behaviors, and appropriate development. We know that being a parent is difficult, so we remain dedicated to being a part of your support system. Do You Do Home Visits?
Yes! We visit families once a week at their homes for about two hours for a four-month period. During this time, we’ll discuss parenting skills, facilitate family activities, and reflect on past parenting approaches. Other focus areas we include are setting goals and working toward behavioral changes in parents. Depending on your unique situation, we’ll use a tailored approach to suit your family’s needs.
Family Connections Program
Child & Family Resources is proud to offer the Family Connections Program, focusing on the family unit as a whole. This program strives to identify core deficits and find healthy and positive ways to address these needs.
Families work with our Specialists for 5 months, once a week with a tailored approach to suit your family’s needs. We know that being a parent is difficult, so we remain dedicated to being a part of your support system. Do You Do Home Visits?
Yes! We visit families once a week at their homes for about two hours. During this time, we’ll discuss attitudes, coping skills for stress, and resources to continue on a safe and healthy path after the allotted 5-month period. Other focus areas we include are setting goals and working toward behavioral changes within the family unit. Depending on your unique needs, we’ll designate you a Level I or Level 2 family. Level 2 families have the benefit of two visits a week.
Who Is Eligible For These Programs?
To be eligible for these programs, families must be recommended by the Department of Child Services.
Do You Accept Referrals?
No. We do not accept referrals outside of the Department of Child Services. Unlike our other programs, the Nurturing Parenting Program is not open to the public.

Where Are These Programs Offered?
Child & Family Resources is dedicated to serving parents and families across Arizona. Your family may be eligible for the program if you reside in Mohave, Yuma, Santa Cruz, Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Graham, or Greenlee County.
